Peru were knocked out of the World Cup after a second straight loss on Wednesday, following up a 1-0 loss to Denmark with a defeat against France by the same scoreline score, but that hasn’t kept their fans from enjoying themselves in Russia.

With their team qualifying for football’s biggest tournament for the first time since 1982, the Peruvians have made sure to turn their time at the World Cup into a party.

“We’re here, 10,000 kilometres away from our place of birth, supporting our national team,” one fan said.
