UAE take on Australia in the World Cup qualifiers on Tuesday at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney.

The Whites’ qualifying campaign took another hit last week with a 2-0 defeat to Japan in Al Ain.

Defeat against Australia would see Mahdi Ali’s men drop from the automatic spots and puncture their ambitions of earning third place in the group.

Here’s how you can catch all the action down under.

TEAM NEWS

AUSTRALIA

Australia coach Ange Postecoglou has promised changes, but this is unlikely to filter through to the formation. Under-used Internazionale defender Trent Sainsbury should be one who definitely returns. The suspension for Aaron Mooy is likely to be see Melbourne Victory midfielder James Troisi slot into the XI. Veteran forward Tim Cahill will stay on the bench.

UAE

UAE boss Mahdi Ali surprised everyone against Japan, making predictions difficult for this game. Vitally, Al Ahli forward Ahmed Khalil has trained several times this week and should be fit to start. Hopes are also high that Al Ain centre-back Ismail Ahmed can do the same. Banned right-back Abdulaziz Haikal should be replaced by Mohammed Fawzi.
