Lionel Messi’s Argentina, boasting one of the world’s most exciting forward line, will be hoping their attacking intent can secure their them a third World Cup crown. 

The Barcelona forward scored his 38th International goal in a World Cup warm up win over Slovenia, opposition that had been chosen specifically with Sunday's opponents Bosnia in mind. 

The Argentina captain has not scored at a World Cup since making his debut in the tournament back in 2006, failing to find the back of the net throughout the 2010 finals in South Africa. 

He will undoubtedly be desperate to make a quick start in Brazil and the omens look good as Messi appears to be fully fit after a difficult season with Barcelona in which he had numerous problems with his hamstring. 

This limited his appearances for Argentina as he scored just three goals compared with the 13  he scored between June 2012 and June 2013. 

While Argentina have some of the world's best forwards in their squad, it is in defence where they may have some problems. 

Especially in their first game as they come up against in-form Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko. 

However, with Messi likely to start alongside Sergio Aguero and Gonzalo Higuain, Argentina fans they can outscore virtually any opposition they face in Brazil.
