Roma have a mountain to climb on Tuesday evening when they look to overturn a 4-1 first-leg deficit in the Champions League’s quarter-finals against Barcelona.

The Catalans are hot favourites at Stadio Olimpico after a pair of own goals last week were added to by Gerard Pique and Luis Suarez’s strikes.

Roma rested their entire first-choice XI for the 2-0 weekend defeat to Fiorentina, so they at least should be fresh enough to embrace the challenge.
