While Barcelona found a way past Antonio Conte‘s Chelsea in the Champions League round of 16 to progress to the quarter-finals, it was a Lionel Messi-show that got them through.

Having sent the ball twice through Thibaut Courtois‘ legs, Messi was at his outstanding decisive best against the English side and didn’t just score two goals, but also assisted French sensation Ousmane Dembele for his first Blaugrana goal while dragging five Chelsea players towards himself in the process.

Deservedly, the Argentine legend has been named the competition’s Player of the Week.
