City Football Schools will return to Abu Dhabi this season and will be giving children in the region the chance to train like the City first team.

Based at Zayed Sports City and New York University in the capital, City Football Schools is built on the philosophy of the City Football Academy, where players such as Vincent Kompany, David Silva and Raheem Sterling all train with the Manchester City FC first team each week.

Open to boys and girls aged between three and 16 years of age, City Football Schools gives the younger generation in Abu Dhabi an opportunity to improve their football skills, stay healthy, make friends and have lots of fun in a positive and friendly learning environment all under the guidance and supervision of fully qualified City Football coaches.

After a positive start to the 2015/16 English Premier League campaign, where City have taken nine points out of nine, club captain, Vincent Kompany was quick to praise the club’s attitude towards young players.

Kompany said: “Here in Manchester you can see from the City Football Academy alone just how crucial an emphasis the club places on young footballers and it is great to see that the club places a similar emphasis on youth in Abu Dhabi."

There was no better indication this summer that City are a football club keen to invest in young footballers with the signing of 20-year old Raheem Sterling in a deal that made the youngster the most expensive English player in history.

And it’s in youth that City want to concentrate on at their Abu Dhabi based City Football Schools as they look to not only encourage keen footballers to better their skills, but also give youngsters the chance to learn how to live a healthy lifestyle.

“The City Football Schools do an outstanding job of encouraging passionate youngsters to play football,” Kompany added and which is plain to see in Abu Dhabi.

The new City Football Schools season begins on August 30th and runs for 36 weeks in four terms which are eight and 10 weeks long. You can sign up to the new season at City Football Schools using the contact details below.
