Dr. Abdulla Misfer has conceded all the pressure is on his UAE team as they face a must-win final group game today versus Indonesia to progress to the AFC U-19 Championship quarter-finals.

The Young Whites currently sit third in Group B, two points behind joint pace-setters Uzbekistan and Australia.

With that pair clashing in the day’s other game (both kick-offs: 18:30), victory for the UAE at Myanmar’s Wunna Theikdi Stadium by at least a two-goal margin should be enough against already-eliminated opposition.

Misfer said: “Uzbekistan will play Australia and that will be a tough game for both. As for us, our spirits are high and we have the chance to qualify for the quarter-finals.

“It will still be a very difficult match for us, Indonesia have no pressure on them, they can relax and play their football; they will still come out for the win.”
