Led by Maximilian Von Portatius, UEFA venue director, and Mark Blackbourne, FIFA, UEFA & Premier League match commissioner, the workshop focused on a series of case studies and finding solutions to issues which may arise on match days.

AFC’s Arabia news editor Samer Jaber, also explained the importance of marketing, communication and social media as part of AFC’s ‘Kick Off’ programme.

Among the topics he discussed was the usage of social media for clubs, players and employees, as well as explaining the need for a comprehensive crisis management plan due to the rapid nature of social media.
