Neymar is at the centre of transfer speculation with the deadline fast approaching but Paris Saint-Germain are working on other moves as well, one of them being the signing of Keylor Navas from Real Madrid.

According to La Nacion, a Costa Rican newspaper and HT SPORT, Navas has already reached an agreement with the French club where current number one goalkeeper, Alphonse Areola’s future is uncertain.

Navas is keen to end his role as the second goalkeeper as he continues to play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois at Madrid.

The Costa Rican had already told Madrid that he wanted to leave and on Wednesday made it clear to Zinedine Zidane that his decision was irrevocable because he is not satisfied with playing only cup games.

Zidane is still keen on retaining the custodian but Navas is expected to do everything possible to leave and take on a leading role in Paris.

PSG are waiting for Navas to sign the agreement and announce the transfer. Both club and player are in a race against time to push the deal through though.
