Manchester United and Leicester City are reportedly £15 million apart in their valuation of defender Harry Maguire, according to ESPN FC.

The England international has been United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s prime target for the summer but a move has been delayed, with both clubs failing to reach an agreement.

The Red Devils have offered £70 million plus £10 million in performance add-ons for Maguire but the Foxes are demanding £85 million and £10 million in bonuses.

The 26-year-old has told Leicester of his desire to ply trades for United after missing out last season. He returned to training on Tuesday after skipping on Monday due to an illness but won’t play a part in Leicester’s friendly game against Atalanta on Friday.

While Maguire is still Solskjaer’s priority, United are still interested in Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Premier League giants are also negotiating with Juventus over a possible swap between Romelu Lukaku and Paulo Dybala. The Argentine is not keen on a move to Old Trafford but Lukaku is eager to start a new phase of his career in Juventus.

Inter Milan are also potential suitors for the Belgian but failure to meet United’s demand of £80 million for the player has put them in the back-seat.

Elsewhere, Newcastle United are unwilling to reduce their £50 million asking price of midfielder Sean Longstaff. United value the player between £25 million and £30 million but have not made nay formal bids yet.
