Trabzonspor midfielder Abdulkadir Omur says he would relish the chance to join Liverpool after being linked with a move to Anfield.

The 19-year-old has been the focus of a potential switch to Merseyside after reports in Turkish media claimed Jurgen Klopp’s side have tabled a £27 million bid for his services.

“If my club tell me that I can go, I’ll go and if they tell me to stay, I’ll stay. We will see,” he told CNN Turk this week.

The Trabzon native, who has another three years remaining on his contract, has scored two goals and provided four assists in 17 matches this term.
