Lucas Torreira has emerged as a top transfer target for Real Madrid, according to the Daily Star.

The 22-year-old has been one of Unai Emery’s star performers this season, guiding Arsenal to a 22 match unbeaten run in all competitions up until Sunday’s 3-2 defeat to Southampton.

Although the Uruguayan international only joined the Gunners in July, he has attracted interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.

It is understood Barcelona and Tottenham are also keen on acquiring his services.
