Corentin Tolisso has backed Bayern Munich’s reported move for prolific Lille winger Nicolas Pepe.

Pepe, 23, has notched 12 goals and five assists in 18 Ligue 1 run-outs this term. Such form has seen him linked strongly to Barcelona and Arsenal.

Now, injured France midfielder Tolisso wants Bayern to get involved in the auction for the Ivory Coast international’s services.

“I saw that his name was mentioned at Bayern Munich,” he told Canal+. “I see what he does in Ligue 1. It’s true he’s a very, very good player. At Bayern Munich, we welcome all good players with pleasure.”

A €60 million price tag has reportedly been set by Lille for the attacker.
