Whatever the answer is to Manchester United’s current woes, Jose Mourinho clearly doesn’t believe it to be Andreas Pereira.

The Brazil midfielder will be allowed to leave on loan in January, according to the Daily Mirror, with West Ham in pole position for his signature.

Pereira has played just six times all season for the Red Devils and reportedly has turned down the offer of a new three-year contract – though United can activate a clause that extends his current deal beyond 2019.

Should this happen he will be allowed to temporarily leave Old Trafford for the Hammers, who are short on midfield numbers despite their four-game winning streak in the Premier League.
