Tottenham star Harry Kane could be on his way to La Liga.

The Daily Star reported that Barcelona are willing to spend as much as £200 million (Dh934m) to sign the Spurs hitman next summer.

The Catalan side are looking for a long-term replacement of striker Luis Suarez who is approaching 32 and has recurring knee issues. According to the report, Barca see 25-year-old Kane as the ideal man for the job.

Tottenham are keen to hold on to the England skipper but with spiraling costs of their new stadium, they might be tempted to take up an offer that is in excess of £150m.

Barcelona face the Spurs in the Champions League this week and a solid performance from Kane will only raise their interest further.
