Manchester City, along with Juventus, have shown interest in signing Jordi Alba, Tuttosport reported.

The Barcelona defender had earlier stated that it was “strange” that the club had not offered him a fresh deal even as he said he wants to finish his career at Camp Nou.

The 29-year-old will be out of contract in 2020 and talks have not yet started over new terms even as he was promised a new deal over two years ago.

“I don’t know what the club thinks of me and it’s strange because there’s not much more of my contract left,” Alba had said.
