The Belgian fuelled this rumours after he hinted of a potential move away from Chelsea in an interview with Canal+

The winger spoke about his future rather openly.

“In January, I will still have a year left on my contract,” he said.

“But if I don’t renew, a transfer is possible.

“Next summer is a possibility, but also I could end up spending the rest of my career at Chelsea.

“I don’t see myself leaving Chelsea in January.

“I wouldn’t do that to the club or the fans.”

The Belgian international’s contract with Chelsea runs till the end of June, 2020.
