The winter transfer window is a little over a month away, but that hasn’t stopped the rumours of various players potentially being on the move. Across the world of football, there remains plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen when the market reopens in January.

KEITA BALDE

Wolverhampton and West Ham are both said to be mulling over a January approach for Keita Balde, the Monaco winger who is on loan at Inter Milan.

The 23-year-old joined Inter on loan until the end of the season but his stint there could be cancelled once the transfer window re-opens, according to reports.

Balde has struggled to adapt to life with the Italian side – failing to score and only managing one assist in 13 matches.

The player has pace in abundance and an eye for goal, and Wolves are keeping a close eye on the situation, according to the Birmingham Mail.

YUNUS AKGUN

Chelsea are monitoring highly-rated Turkish youngster Yunus Akgun, who is also having tabs kept on him by Juventus, Wolfsburg and Benfica.

ESPN claim the Blues are showing an interest in winger Akgun, 18, after his impressive performances for Galatasaray.

All four clubs had scouts at Turkey Under-19s’ 1-0 win over England on Tuesday in which Akgun played. It is standard practice for Europe’s leading clubs to have a scout at such games.

ANDREAS PEREIRA

Chelsea and Arsenal are interested in signing out of favour Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira.

The Brazilian is out of contract at the end of the season and has failed to make his mark at Old Trafford.

United do have an option to trigger a one-year extension but Jose Mourinho is said to be ready to sell the talented attacking midfielder.

And the Mirror claim the Gunners and Blues are ready to fight for his signature in January.
