Barcelona have reached out to Jordi Alba’s representatives to re-open negotiations to renew his contract, according to Spanish publication Sport.

The Catalans have been impressed with the left-back’s form which saw him reclaim his spot on the Spanish national team under Luis Enrique.

They haven’t been the only ones to take notice though. Juventus like what they’re seeing from the 29-year-old with Inter Milan also keeping a close eye on him.

However, Alba has expressed a desire to remain at Camp Nou and Barca are eager to keep him around.

Juventus are also monitoring Marcelo’s situation at Real Madrid.
