Neymar continues to be heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and his former team-mate at Barcelona, Andres Iniesta claims the transfer would not upset him.

Since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure to Juventus this summer, the 26-year-old has become a chief target for Los Blancos president Florentino Perez.

However, despite the rivalry between the two clubs, Iniesta insists it would not bother him if Neymar ended up at the Bernabeu.

“It would not hurt me if Neymar went to Real Madrid,” he told the ‘El Larguero’ radio show on Cadena SER.”I think, in the end, Barcelona have a squad with great players and in any case they opt to win every title in play each season.

“Neither do I dare to say that Neymar won’t go back to Barcelona.

“Obviously he is a world-class player who makes a difference, but I see it difficult to come back.

“However, I do not like to deny things categorically.”
