Brazil left-back Alex Sandro’s wage demands are hampering attempts by Serie A champions Juventus to extend his contract, according to reports.

Sandro, 27, has excelled since he was snapped up from Porto in August 2015. These displays have not gone unnoticed elsewhere, with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United linked strongly to his signature in recent years.

Corriere dello Sport have stated that an impasse has developed between club and player. Sandro has demanded €5 million per annum, while the Old Lady are only willing to offer €3m.

Sandro has got one assist in eight Serie A appearances this term.
