Superstar forward Neymar has continued to contact Barcelona about a sensational return after he grew frustrated at Paris Saint-Germain and his former charges are contemplating a complicated deal, according to reports.

Neymar, 26, rocked the football world in August 2017 when he forced through a world-record €222 million move to the Ligue 1 giants.

Mundo Deportivo have stated that initials overtures, that began in March, have strengthened. His ex-employers initially reacted coldly, but their stance is softening.

Neymar has scored 39 times in 41 matches for PSG. But a failure to advance past last season’s round of 16 in the Champions League and a potential usurpation by France forward Kylian Mbappe has increased his wanderlust.

The Brazil skipper previously registered 105 goals in 186 games for Barca from 2013-17. He claimed eight major trophies at Camp Nou.
