Paris Saint-Germain are ready to launch a new bid to sign Barcelona star Ivan Rakitic, Onda Cero reports.

The Parisians have been linked with the Croatian for some time, and now reportedly, could muster up a €100m offer next summer to land the 30-year-old.

Despite having a contract with Blaugrana until 2021, speculation over Rakitic’s future has intensified of late amid rumours club president Josep Maria Bartomeu is unwilling to give the player a rise.

Rakitic has stated he is more than happy at the Camp Nou but could seek pay parity with other top stars.

As such, a big-money move from PSG is set to prove tempting for Barca, given they would have the luxury of cashing in on the World Cup finalist once this season is out.

The sour relationship between the two clubs following Neymar‘s world-record transfer in August 2017 might, however, prove to be a sticking point on progressive talks.
