Germany midfielder Sami Khedira has committed his future to Italian champions Juventus until 2021.

World Cup winner Khedira joined Juve from Real Madrid in 2015 and has gone on to play 80 league games for the Serie A club, scoring 20 goals.

The Bianconeri announced on their official website on Wednesday that the 31-year-old’s new contract contains the option of a further year.

Khedira tweeted: “I just extended my contract at @Juventusfc until 2021. Since my first day I’ve had a special feeling and it quickly felt like home here.

“I’m very proud to be a part of the great history of the club and of the Juventus family. Let’s continue to make black and white history.”
