Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri says it is up to Tammy Abraham if the striker makes a loan move on Friday.

The 20-year-old England international, who spent last season at Swansea, has been linked with a season-long loan move to Aston Villa in the Championship.

Sarri, speaking ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth, said: “I am not able to guarantee to him a spot at the moment. But if he wants to remain, I’m very, very happy with him.

“He’s very young for a striker. He can improve more. I think it’s up to him.”
