Turkish giants Fenerbahce are plotting a loan raid for Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko, according to The Sun.

The 29-year-old Frenchman featured for Mauricio Pochettino’s side during the opening day Premier League victory at Newcastle, but could struggle to secure regular first-team football throughout the rest of this campaign in a competitive engine room area.

As such, the Super Lig one side want to take Sissoko on a season-long loan arrangement and include a clause in the deal that could see them sign the former Toon ace permanently next summer.

Former Spurs Director of Football, Damien Comolli, is now working with Fenerbahce and is hoping his good connections with the north London club will see them force through a move.
