Juventus are keen to appoint club icon Zinedine Zidane as their new manager next season, according to EI Pais.

The legendary Frenchman, who left the Real Madrid hotseat in May after guiding the club to an unprecedented third straight Champions League success, enjoyed a stellar playing career with the Turin giants between 1996 and 2001.

Reportedly, the Serie A giants want to replace Massimiliano Allegri and begin a new cycle at the end of the current campaign – opening the door for Zidane, who is currently a free agent, to move to the Juventus Stadium.

That of course also makes it a real possibility Zizou and Cristiano Ronaldo could once again combine forces.
