Fenerbahce are ready to put Marcos Rojo out of his misery and clinch a loan deal for the Argentine.

According to Fanatik, the Turkish giants are closing in on a move for the Manchester United defender, who has been told he can leave Old Trafford.

Rojo was linked with a move to Everton ahead of the Premier League transfer window, however, that never materialised and now a switch to Turkey represents the best option.

The 28-year-old was shifted from his No5 squad number to No16 for this season and is not part of Jose Mourinho’s plans moving forward.
