Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on securing the signature of Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele this summer, Mundo Deportivo reports.

The transfer window slams shut in both France and Spain on August 31, giving the Parisian club plenty of time to seal a deal for the 21-year-old talent.

Although the Frenchman was part of Didier Deschamps’ winning World Cup squad, he faces a big season at club level and needs regular game time – something of which he is not guaranteed at Barca – to progress.

Dembele has only fleetingly produced his top talent on the pitch at Blaugrana since his €105m arrival from Borussia Dortmund last summer, while the purchase of Brazilian winger Malcom also provides more competition.
