Tottenham have eased their stance on Toby Alderweireld’s future and are now willing to sell him to Manchester United, the Mirror reports.

Since his return from the summer break, the player has made his intentions to run down his contract known to the club.

In that scenario, he would be able to leave Spurs for just £25 million next summer as per a clause in his contract.

The north London outfit have therefore decided to sell the Belgian centre-back to United in the next couple or days and are expected to reduce their asking price that was initially in the region of £75 million to £60 million.
