Barcelona have completed the signing of Moussa Wague from Belgian side KAS Eupen.

The defender starred for Senegal in this summer’s World Cup and has already passed a medical on Friday, ESPN report.

Wague is expected to sign for the Catalans for an undisclosed fee in the coming days.

The 19-year-old will join up with Barcelona’s B team initially before working his way into first team contention although he will have the opportunity to train with the main squad.

Ernesto Valverde hopes he will soon be ready to compete with Nelson Semedo and Sergi Roberto for the right-back role in the first XI with Aleix Vidal set to move to Sevilla.
