Mateo Kovacic is eager to leave Real Madrid in order to secure regular playing time but is not enticed by the prospect of moving to Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho is keen on getting the transfer done as he desperately attempts to strengthen his squad before the window shuts on August 9.

Marca claim that United have tabled a €60 million bid to sign the Croatian midfielder. However, the 24-year-old doesn’t think Old Trafford would be the right fit for him.

Kovacic will attempt to force his way into Julen Lopetegui’s plans with his performances in pre-season.
