Real Madrid stars Gareth Bale and Toni Kroos were on Jose Mourinho’s wish list this summer, according to Marca.

The Manchester United boss has been frustrated with the club’s lack of success in the transfer market with the failures to rope in either one of the Bernabeu stars part of that.

Madrid vehemently denied the Premier League outfit’s approach for the duo. Bale is being backed to assume a starring role in attack following Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus.
