Everton plan £30m swoop for Man United defender Marcos Rojo

Everton are working to acquire the services of Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo this summer.

The Toffees continue to bolster their squad under Marco Silva and a £30 million deal for the Argentina international could be their latest signing, the Daily Mail reports.

With United looking to sign a centre-back of their own – with the likes of Harry Maguire and Toby Alderweireld heavily linked with the club – before the transfer window slams shut, Rojo’s position at Old Trafford is uncertain and could be set to reunited with his former Sporting Lisbon boss instead.

Everton have made their interest known but are yet to table a formal bid.
