West Ham’s hopes of signing Real Betis forward Loren look to be over, Mundo Deportivo reports.

The 24-year-old hitman has been tracked by the Hammers for some time, fuelling speculation that Manuel Pellegrini’s men were going to meet Loren’s €25million release clause.

However, the player himself has insisted he wants to stay at the Estadio Benito Villamarin and help the club build on their sixth-placed finish in La Liga last time out.

Loren, who could also sign a new deal with Betis, honed his trade in the club’s B team before rifling in seven goals during the second-half of last season.
