Wolves are set to make a surprise move for Real Madrid legend Pepe, who currently plies his trade with Besiktas in Turkey.

According to Fanatik, the 35-year-old centre-back could be in line for a Premier League switch with the newly-promoted club rumoured to be willing to meet his €7 million valuation.

Pepe featured for Portugal during the World Cup but reportedly has failed to fully settle at the Turkish Super Lig giants since his switch in July 2017 – despite making 35 appearances last season.

Having spent a decade at the Bernabeu, Pepe is somewhat a cult hero in the Spanish capital and won three Champions League winners’ medals with Los Blancos.
