AC Milan are set to offer experienced goalkeeper Pepe Reina plus substantial cash to Chelsea in a bid to sign midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.

According to Tuttosport, the Serie A giants want the former Monaco ace to sure up their engine room next season and are willing to go to great lengths to make a deal happen.

Despite only bringing Reina to the San Siro in May from Napoli on a free transfer, Milan are prepared to let  the former Liverpool shot-stopper leave the club in part-exchange.

With speculation Thibaut Courtois will depart Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid, Chelsea could need a new goalkeeper, though the 35-year-old had not previously been on the radar.

Add in the fact that the Blues want to keep the French star for at least one more season, and this deal looks like a no-goer.
