Real Madrid‘s pursuit of Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois could have a knock-on effect at Everton, according to Sky Sports.

The Toffees are braced for a mega bid from Chelsea for their No.1 Jordan Pickford, with reports suggesting Maurizio Sarri’s men want the England goalkeeper to replace Courtois.

Los Blancos’ pursuit of the Belgian shot-stopper has gone quiet over the past week, however, the former Atletico Madrid man remains a top target for Julen Lopetegui’s charges.

Until that deal progresses and is indeed completed, Chelsea will not chase Pickford’s signature.

Regardless, it is unlikely Everton will allow Pickford – a man they recruited from Sunderland for £30m last summer – to leave the club on the cheap.
