The summer transfer window is open and across the globe there is a frenzy of speculation as players and coaches look for their next moves.

Activity has hit hyper-speed and numerous stories have got football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen very soon.

KIERAN TRIPPIER

Not satisfied with just the two Spain right-backs, Real Madrid are planning to venture further afield to nab one of the best players at this summer’s World Cup – that’s according to a report in The Sun.

Sources close to the player have apparently revealed Los Blancos’ intense interest in Kieran Trippier, whose dead-eye set-pieces and all-round superb play helped England all the way to the semi-finals.

Given that Tottenham flogged another England right-back in Kyle Walker to Man City for £50 million last summer, it would surely take at least that amount again for Real to land the 27-year-old Trippier. Would they spend that much given they have Dani Carvajal and Alvaro Odriozola?

MIRALEM PJANIC

First they’re interested in Gonzalo Higuain, next they’re intrigued by Daniele Rugani … now, Chelsea are reportedly keen on another Juventus maestro in Miralem Pjanic.

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims that the Blues wanted Chelsea regardless of signing Napoli man Jorginho – who they bagged last week – to complete their midfield transformation.

No fee has been mentioned but Juventus could either offer the Bosnia international a contract extension or hear what Maurizio Sarri’s men have to say in regards to a transfer.
