KALIDOU KOULIBALY

Chelsea are still monitoring the Napoli defender and could pounce for their long-term target this month.

According to the Mirror, the Blues view the 26-year-old powerhouse as a like-for-like replacement for the ageing Gary Cahill and have the funds available to meet his £80million (Dh404m) valuation.

With former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri appointed as successor to Antonio Conte over the weekend, the Senegal international could be set for a move to west London.

Koulibaly, who has grown into being one of the standout centre-backs in world football, is set to make a call on his future now that the World Cup is over.

ALEKSANDR GOLOVIN

Monaco have made an offer to sign the CSKA Moscow star, according to the Express.

The 22-year-old was one of the stars of Russia’s run to the quarter-finals of the World Cup this summer.

Golovin, who still has another four years to run on his contract in Moscow, is also a target for Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus.

The French Riviera side though look to be in pole position to secure his services and believe the structure at their club can get the best out of his talents.
