XHERDAN SHAQIRI

Manchester United are to raise the tempo in their pursuit of Swiss winger, the Sun reports.

Representatives of the Stoke forward are set to have held talks with counterparts at Old Trafford after the Potters’ relegation from the top flight.

Stoke’s demise is said to have reduced Shaqiri’s price to £12million (Dh58.2m), which has not escaped the attention of other Premier League clubs.

Everton, West Ham, Tottenham and Southampton are said to be keeping an eye on the 26-year-old.

STEVEN N’ZONZI

New Gunners boss Unai Emery is desperate to sign the towering France international midfielder, The Mirror reports.

With Jack Wilshere set to depart on a free transfer and Aaron Ramsey’s future being the subject of intense transfer speculation, N’Zonzi is tipped to be a mainstay in the Premier League club’s midfield next term.

The 29-year-old, who previously played for Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City, is said to be keen for a new challenge and will discuss his future after the conclusion of the World Cup in Russia.
