The summer transfer window is open and across the globe there is a frenzy of speculation as players and coaches look for their next moves.

There is plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen very soon.

Let us know your thoughts via Twitter and Facebook.

ALEKSANDR GOLOVIN

Juventus are leading the race for Russia’s World Cup star, according to Calciomercatoweb.

The CSKA Moscow schemer, 22, has been one of the leading lights of the tournament so far after a series of dazzling displays in the group stages – only serving to heighten rumours he will make a big switch this summer.

Indeed, the Old Lady have made it clear they wish to complete a deal for the midfielder, who could be available for a snip at €25m (Dh106m).

It remains to be seen whether Golovin wants to leave his homeland just yet, though a transfer to Turin would prove hard to turn down.

Star turn: Aleksandr Golovin.

ANDRE GOMES

The Barcelona midfielder is desperate to return to former side Valencia, Sport reports.

The 24-year-old missed out on Portugal’s World Cup squad after a miserable season with the Camp Nou giants in which he again failed to establish himself as a first-team regular.

Gomes, who joined Blaugrana from Valencia back in the summer of 2016, would apparently like to return to Los Che having previously thrived at the Mestalla.

However, Barcelona are demanding at least €35 million for his signature – the same fee that they shelled out to land him two years ago. As such, that could prove to be a big sticking point over a potential deal.

Andre Gomes is expected to leave Barcelona.
