The summer transfer window is open and across the globe there is a frenzy of speculation as players and coaches look for their next moves.

There is plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen very soon.

Let us know your thoughts via Twitter and Facebook.

MEDHI BENATIA

Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are locked in a two-way battle to sign the Juventus centre-back, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Gunners are still planning to strengthen their defence significantly ahead of the new campaign and want the Moroccan to follow Stephan Lichtsteiner to the Emirates.

However, Bundesliga giants Dortmund have also declared their interest in the 31-year-old and could offer the former Udinese and Roma star Champions League football next term.

Benatia could also be keen on a switch back to Germany, having played in the country with Bayern Munich between 2014 and 2017.

ALISSON

Chelsea have made the Roma goalkeeper one of their top summer transfer targets, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports again.

The Blues are concerned over Thibaut Courtois’s long-term future at the club amid speculation the Belgian shot-stopper could move to Real Madrid.

As such, plans have been put in place to try and sign Alisson – who is currently occupying the sticks for Brazil at the World Cup in Russia.

Liverpool have also been linked with the 25-year-old for some time, with it being suggested Chelsea will go head-to-head with rivals clubs in a straight shootout for his signature.

Allison enjoyed a fine season with the Stadio Olimpico side.

TANGUY NDOMBELE

The emerging France star is wanted by Manchester United, according to Le10 Sport.

Jose Mourinho is reportedly an admirer of the 21-year-old midfield talent, who enjoyed a terrific season on loan at Lyon from his parent club Amiens.

The French giants penned an agreement with Amiens last summer to secure the player’s services temporarily for 12 months and also have first-option to sign Ndombele.

However, discussions have slowed and Lyon are apparently no nearer to completing a €8 million (Dh34.2m) deal for the player.

That has opened the door for United to splash the cash and try to pinch the midfield man from under the noses of Les Gones.

Tanguy Ndombele rose to prominence last term.
