West Ham have re-opened talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore, according to Sky Sports.

The Ligue 1 champions are willing to sell the out-of-favour Argentine as they attempt to comply with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules.

The 28-year-old, who joined the Parisiens from Palmero in 2011, has one year remaining on his contract at Parc des Princes.

Previously one of the French giants top performers, Pastore looks like he will bring his six year association with the club to an end this summer in an effort to get more minutes after starting just 14 matches last term.

New Hammers manager Manuel Pellegrini is aiming to sign up to five players this summer, with Pastore considered high on the Chilean’s wishlist.

The Cordoba native has scored 45 goals in 265 appearances during his time at PSG.
