ANDRE VILLAS-BOAS

Real Madrid are considering the former Chelsea boss as a replacement for Zinedine Zidane following his surprise exit after winning his third Champions League title with the club, RMC reports.

The Portuguese has experience in charge of the likes of Tottenham, Porto and the Blues and would represent a cheap option for Los Blancos, who would only have to pay his salary and no release fee.

Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with the 40-year-old, who is a free agent after leaving his role at Shanghai SIPG last November.

Tottenham have emerged as key contenders to sign the Barcelona wantaway, according to Sport.

The Brazilian spent last season on loan at Inter and the Serie A side had the option to sign him permanently this summer.

However, the Milan-based club are unable to pay the £30.8m (Dh152m) needed to land the Sao Paulo man.

And, according to the Spanish publication, Spurs are set to table a bid to secure his services as they look to bolster their line-up ahead of next season.
