The agent of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has categorically denied that the Egyptian’s services have been offered to Barcelona.

Catalonia-based publication AS had on Wednesday morning claimed that the Kop winger’s services had been offered to the Catalan giants by his agents.

Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas Issa has acted quickly to deny those rumours. His agent took to Twitter to make it clear that no such offer had been made to Barcelona.

“This never happened. @English_AS you need better sources,” Issa wrote on Twitter.

The Spanish newspaper had claimed that the Egyptian was an alternate to Barcelona’s pursuit of Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann.
