JACK BUTLAND

The Sun reports the Potters will demand at least £30 million (Dh150m) for his services this summer, though 20 per cent of any future fee will go to his former club Birmingham.

After relegation from the Premier League, the Potters are resigned to losing the England international but want to hold out for as much cash as possible.

Everton are set to revive their interest in the Crystal Palace defender this summer now Marco Silva has taken up the Goodison Park hotseat.

According to the Daily Mail, the Toffees have identified the 27-year-old Netherlands star as the man to replace club icon Leighton Baines, who is in the twilight of his Blues career.

The Merseysiders had previously been linked with both Danny Rose and Luke Shaw to bolster the left-side of their defence but apparently see Van Aanholt as a more affordable alternative.

Rated at £20m (Dh 97m), the former Sunderland star is within the Blues’ price range and Everton’s new Director of Football, Marcel Brands, has already made tentative enquiries over his availability.

RYAN FREDERICKS

The Fulham full-back could become Manuel Pellegrini’s first summer signing as new West Ham boss, the Daily Mail reports.

The newly-promoted Cottagers are resigned to losing the full-back on a free transfer to their London neighbours after the 25-year-old rejected new terms at Craven Cottage.

Fredericks, who was a virtual ever-present during a vintage campaign for the Whites, is viewed as a replacement for the ageing Pablo Zabaleta – despite Pellegrini’s affiliation with the cult Manchester City hero.

Having started his career as a youth player at Tottenham, Fredericks had spells at Brentford, Millwall, Middlesbrough and Bristol City before joining Fulham in 2015.
