THIBAUT COURTOIS

Liverpool will turn their attentions towards signing the in-demand Chelsea goalkeeper, according to reports in Italy.

The Belgian netminder has been locked in talks with the West London club but an agreement has yet to be reached to extend his contract beyond 2019.

As a result of this, the 26-year-old has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, with the Reds expected to pounce this summer. Jurgen Klopp is in the market for a new shot-spotter after Lloris Karius’ disastrous performance in the Champions League final.

MIRALEM PJANIC

Manchester City have entered the race with Barcelona and Real Madrid to sign the talented Juventus midfielder, according to Corriere della Sera.

The Italian outlet are reporting that Pjanic has been waiting over a year to sign a contract extension, despite his current deal running until 2021.

Although the Old Lady have no intention of allowing the €50m-rated (Dh438m) Bosnian international to leave the club, City, Barcelona and Madrid will flex their financial muscles next month in a bid to secure his services.
