THIAGO ALCANTARA

The Bayern Munich star could leave the Bundesliga giants at the end of the season, according to reports.

The 27-year-old midfield man, who is set to be a key part of Spain’s World Cup side in Russia, admitted to Mundo Deportivo that he is not sure whether his long-term future will be in Germany.

Despite only signing a new four-year contract last April, the 27-year-old has been linked with a move back to Barcelona – the club where he spent four years between 2009 and 2013, but failed to establish himself.

Whatever happens, Thiago is set to ignore the speculation until La Roja’s summer campaign is completed.

Midfield lynchpin: Thiago.

GIANLUIGI BUFFON

The Juventus legend could make a sensational switch to Paris Saint-Germain next season, if what his agent is saying is true.

At 40, the Italian hero brought the curtain down on his magnificent career with the Old Lady at the end of the club’s double-winning season and hinted he had plenty of offers on the table given his desire to play on.

Buffon’s agent is apparently keeping the door open to any possibilities and confirmed that there is some substance to rumours linking the Ligue 1 giants to his services.

For now, the goalkeeping great is enjoying some well-earned time off and is not set to make an immediate decision on his future.

The great Gianluigi Buffon.
