The summer transfer window is now less than one month away and the rumours of players potentially being on the move is gathering pace.

Across the world of football, there remains plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

VICTOR LINDELOF

The Swedish defender is set to leave Old Trafford this summer having failed to establish himself at the Red Devils, according to The Mirror.

Newly-promoted Premier League Wolves are apparently the frontrunners to land the 23-year-old, with a loan agreement being the most likely.

Lindelof cost United a whopping £31 million (Dh154m) from Benfica but has made just 17 league outings – with his high-profile error in the defeat at Huddersfield drawing much criticism.

However, according to sources, the versatile star could still have a future in Manchester should he prove himself by getting more experience in English football elsewhere.

Difficult first season: Lindelof has struggled to make an impact.

MUSA BARROW

Chelsea, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are locked in a three-way battle to sign the promising Atalanta forward, according to Calciomercato.

At just 19, the Gambian hitman has impressed after making his breakthrough in Serie A in the second-half of this season.

He has quickly earned a reputation of one of the league’s top young talents, with European big clubs ready to test La Dea’s hold to keep hold of the talent.

Barrow joined Atalanta as a free agent in 2016.

Up-and-coming: Musa Barrow.

JOE ALLEN

The Stoke midfielder could stay in the Premier League next season, despite the Potters’ relegation from the top-flight.

The Telegraph reports that the 28-year-old has a contractual release clause, that if a bid of £25m (Dh124m) or more comes in from a top-six side, he will be allowed to leave.

However, Allen, who has been a virtual ever-present this campaign in a struggling team, has yet to go on the record about his future nor has there been any firm offers for his signature.

Stoke are set to undergo major surgery this summer in a bid to bounce straight back up.

Joe Allen vies for possession against Georginio Wijnaldum during the recent draw at Anfield.
